African Essentials Organic* Hibiscus Oil is a light, silky amooth and versatile oil with a high concentration of Omega-6 Linoleic Acid that helps provide deep moisturizatioin to the skin. Its is also rich in flavonoids, carotenoids, and tannins which make it an effective antioxidant that protects the skin against environmental elements and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines while also fighting free radicals in the skin. It is thus ideal for soothing dry, sensitive or aging skin. African Essentials Organic Hibiscus Oil also contains a naturally gentle form of alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) that help exfoliate and get rid of dead skin cells, leaving the skin rejuvenated and purified. Hibiscus Oil can also be used for haircare to fight dry scalp, dandruff and premature graying.
For facial care, simply apply a few drops by gently patting the hibiscus oil on the skin. In hair care, hibiscus oil can be applied directly in light friction on the scalp or directly in the form of a hot oil treatment on the whole of the hair.
